Behind Every Successful Man, There Is A Morning

We have heard that behind every successful man, there is a woman. But then some claim that behind every unsuccessful man also, there is a woman. This is a debatable topic, but I am here to tell you about something that is unarguably behind every successful man. It is how they start their mornings is that makes them different from others. Here is a list of things that most people do in the morning but the successful ones don't.

1. Checking Your Phones

The moment your alarm rings, which nowadays is, unfortunately, your phone, the first thing you do is start checking your phone for new notifications, messages, emails, updates, or other stuff which may seem important but is actually not that important. Checking your phone first thing in the morning is tempting but just think about what it does to your brain. When you start your day, the best thing to do with your brain is to keep it fresh and relaxed so that it stays prepared to handle the upcoming processing requirements of the day. But what you do is put your brain in overdrive the moment you wake up by bombarding it with information from your phone. You unconsciously start to feel overwhelmed already. Not only does it stress your brain, but it also sets a negative mood even before you start your day because the information you receive every day from your phones is usually not that joyful. Hence it becomes difficult for you to focus on your priorities and goals.

It is best to leave your phone or any other source of information like TV alone, sit back and enjoy your tea or coffee while thinking and preparing yourself for the rest of the day. Believe me, you will be much more productive this way.

2. Skipping Breakfast

More than often, you have a lot to do with your time in a day. To manage things, it seems like a convenient option to just skip your breakfast. But the problem is, as convenient as it may seem, it does more harm to you than you can possibly imagine. It is not just a phrase when we say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It is a fact that has been proved repeatedly through scientific research. Just think about it. Your body has been without food for several hours after dinner. If you skip your breakfast, you deprive yourself of food for more than 12 hours straight. As a result, your blood sugar level starts to plummet, and it keeps doing that until you eat. It eventually causes dizziness, chills, and tiredness. You can imagine how hard it is for the brain to concentrate in such conditions. You become less aware and alert than you should be because your brain needs glucose (sugar) to process information.

Eating a healthy breakfast not only keeps you more energetic the whole day but also improves your mood in general. So, believe it or not, behind the ability of a successful person to handle everything that is thrown at him during the day is a healthy breakfast.

3. Doing Everything in A Random Order

How many of us pick up a pen and paper in the morning and make a list of things that need to be done in the day in order of priority? Very few, I guess. This is what makes those very few people more successful than the others. Planning your day may seem like an extra thing to do in the morning, but it will make your whole day easier and more productive. If you are not the kind of person who usually keeps pen and paper handy, then you can also do so by using an app like OneNote on your phone (though not right after you wake up).

Prioritizing all the tasks of your day prepares you mentally and makes it easier to divide your time according to the importance of the task. It also helps you to keep a track of your progress anytime during the day and makes it less likely for you to miss something important and get worried afterward. A planned day can easily create a difference between being successful in whatever field you are in and keep struggling to make ends meet.

Just How Your Self-Talk Affects Your Confidence As Well As Success

People are engaged in inner dialog or self-talk consistently. It is a sort of automatic response to just how we feel, and it influences our habits based on our experiences in life. If your mindset is always negative, as well as if you always take part in negative self-talk, you end up being pessimistic.

Conversely, if you believe positively despite numerous problems, you are possibly a positive individual. A pessimistic, negative self-talking person will certainly discover it challenging to take steps to end up being confident as well as successful, whereas an optimistic, positive self-talking person gets on the road to attaining their goals and objectives.

Your Thinking Habits And How They Impact You

Because your actions or decisions will greatly depend on the method you chat to yourself within, having the best way of reasoning is very important. Your internal dialog has a powerful influence on you. Your self-talk can give you confidence and inspiration to prosper or make you afraid and timid of making huge decisions that would or else positively impact your life.

Typically, negative self-talk limits your ability to believe in yourself as well as your skills and skills, so you can not reach your complete potential for success. It minimizes your will to make a positive move to go ahead with any kind of plan to enhance your life scenario.

If you master the art of positivity, you will surely get even more confidence and motivation. You can be extra effective in working on whatever your objective is. If you do not suppress a negative method of reasoning, you will certainly be the largest block to your very own progression.

Negative self-talk is difficult as well as can bring about depression, anxiety, self-pity, addiction, and partnership issues. You might not recognize it, yet your negative attitude is really usually disproportionally impractical, unreasonable, and biased versus your own self.

Why Is It Crucial To Think Positively?

Favorable thinking is a considerable factor for success. The more you claim that you can do it, the extra you are determined to make it. Don't set limits on being a positive thinker because what your mind can conceive, you can achieve.

Being a perfectionist can appear to be an exceptional trait; however it is not in most aspects of your life. It can be harmful, especially to your relationships with family members. If this is you, you are not happy unless, in your mind, you have actually done your best to please them or vice-versa. It can likewise put on your work, however, if you believe in your self-respect, you will certainly be happy and also happy in your success, even if they are not ideal. It will certainly additionally be less demanding if you approve that you did excellent work.

Because this will compound your insecurities, avoid self-criticism as much as possible. Quit being self-critical since your ideas are prejudiced and also are also affected by your mood. Be much more unbiased and rather, praise yourself when you've done fantastic work, and also others have actually acknowledged it.

What To Do With Your Negative Thoughts?

If you consider your inner ideas as a separate force you can control, you can better handle it when negativity sneaks in. Don't blithely accept that your ideas are something over which you have no control, and you are a sufferer of them. With the method, you can find out to regulate your reasoning, swiftly releasing negative thoughts and focusing on those that possess return favorable results.

If it's not possible to change positively and make this a habit, you can also change your negative thoughts to neutral. Instead of "I don't like it," say, "I much prefer this one," or "This is a problem" should become "This is just a challenge." Reframing is an effective tool, and a gentler thought can stop stress and stress in your handling events or people.

Other people do not know what's taking place in your head therefore they can not correct your damaging way of self-talk. Know your self-talk - if it's negative, transform your outlook given that they are usually exaggerations that will plant unneeded concern or anxiety in your mind. You may be able to share your self-inflicted objections with your buddies to hear their objective viewpoints.

Usually, they can help you appreciate that your adverse self-talk is largely baseless, so your tension and stress and anxiety will certainly lower if you focus on the positive. If any job is quite difficult for you, do not fall back to tell on your own that you can't do it. Instead, you can state to yourself, "Focus, focus, focus. You know you can do this." This can inspire you and increase your morale to act.

Now you realize that self-talk has the power to increase your self-confidence, improve your disposition, and motivate you to act to attain success. Persistent negative thinking, however, can bring your state of mind and also confidence down, even preventing you from becoming an achiever.

Guide your self-talk towards positivity, which generates success as well as happiness instead of blocking possibilities with negative thoughts.

If your way of thinking is always negative, and if you always engage in negative self-talk, you become pessimistic.

With practice, you can learn to control your thinking, quickly releasing negative thoughts and focusing on those that wield yield positive results.

You can also change your negative thoughts to neutral if it's not possible to change positively and make this a habit. Be aware of your self-talk - if it's negative, change your outlook since they are usually exaggerations that will plant unnecessary worry or fear in your mind. Usually, they can help you appreciate that your negative self-talk is largely baseless, so your stress and anxiety will decrease if you focus on the positive.

Discover Why This Is the Best Time to Re-Evaluate Your Career

Life establishes a rhythm and a pattern. It is often referred to as the status quo. As the world continues to evolve, you may either feel as if your life is adapting along with it, or your career is never changing, growing, or moving forward. Days go by and nothing changes. Your thoughts of the future are focused on getting ahead and perhaps how you'll create better traction for advancing the knowledge, skills, and talents you possess. Perhaps you feel under-appreciated, you've been overlooked for positions, and/or you believe you are under-paid for your role. Whatever the case may be, your daily routine may have been consumed with timely thoughts about achieving a better future.

Then when a significant life event occurs, such as a worldwide crisis, it creates an opportunity to re-evaluate the thoughts and plans you've had for your career. When that occurs you have a choice, you can use it as a time to reflect and redirect your focus, or you can give in to fear and become paralyzed with inaction. While it may seem counter-intuitive, take this time to re-prioritize your goals and re-review your career plan. The reason it may feel like an inappropriate approach to take, while you await the resolution of a situation that seems so out of control, is that being productive can actually help to calm your mind and put you in a logical frame of reference.

While you are in the process of evaluating your career and developing new plans to revive it again, you will find yourself better able to control your emotional reactions to the events you are hearing and reading. This is due to a shift in how your mind is processing information or taking cognitive control once again of the flood of information being received through working memory. You can initiate this type of process by implementing a guided career overview plan and asking yourself a series of self-analysis questions.

Guided Career Overview

You first begin an overhaul process by clearing the mental clutter in your own mind. There will be information and misinformation you have been collecting about current events, which has been creating doubt, fear, and likely a sense of unease over time about your future. Start by evaluating the needs for yourself and those who either depend upon you or live with you. Then search for valid sources of information, not sources of second-hand information. Go directly to those sources which will provide you with facts, data, and statistics. This is the only way you can make any plans with certainty, and stop the flow of speculation from entering your mind. You will find you are also engaging in the use of logic and critical analysis skills as you use this mental process.

After you have mentally prepared yourself for the basic needs required, and you have engaged your rational thinking skills, now you can begin to use those same reasoning skills for a review of your career plan. At this point in time it is likely your entire perspective of your career has changed, priorities have shifted, and the manner in which you work has changed. You may either work from home as a remote worker, or you may have found yourself without work now. Whatever the case may be, and as difficult as you may find it to be, this is the time to conduct a guided career overview. Now more than ever, you are viewing your career from a completely different perspective.

To get started, itemized your career goals. If you did not have clearly defined goals, create a list for your future in increments of two-year periods. This is a different approach than you will read within many self-help articles and it is one I've used as a career coach to help improve the success rate of achieving each milestone. When goals are set too far out, those goals seem too long-term and can be easily forgotten. Shorter goals serve as checkpoints to keep in mind and also can become motivational signposts to celebrate along the way, as each is completed. Should you have career goals already, you can re-develop them into a two-year approach as I've described.

As you are thinking about career goals, it is possible you may not know exactly where you are headed or what direction you would like to take next in your career. This is when the idea of visualization can be helpful, as a tool for career development. Imagine yourself two years from now, with the current crisis resolved, and describe what you see, feel, and think about for your job or career. Consider what you aspire to be or become, now that you have a new perspective on life. If you are satisfied with your career and now want to spend more time with those whom you care about, perhaps your next goal will be seeing yourself in a stable position, becoming an expert in this role.

Self-Analysis Questions

Now that you have begun the process of evaluating your career, from the perspective of examining what your future might be in the upcoming years, you can ask additional targeted questions to continue the process of self-analysis. I've implemented the use of the following questions in various forms as a career development coach and perhaps they will help you as well.

Targeted Question #1: Am I inspired by the career goals I've established?

What you want to develop are specific, not generic career goals. An example of a generic goal would be: I am going to be recognized for my hard work within two years. In contrast, the most effective checkpoints to develop every two years are those which inspire you to grow and make progress, depending upon what your priorities are for your life and career. For example, if you want to remain steady and stable, then visualize yourself becoming an expert at this time and point. If you want to advance, name a specific position you are interested in pursuing. As an example, if you aspire to move into a management position, set that as a marker for your first checkpoint.

Targeted Question #2: Will there be anything holding me back from reaching these career goals?

When you have established inspirational checkpoints, over specified two-year time periods, next you can ascertain if there will be anything needed to make certain you are prepared. For example, will you need any training or continued education? Will you need to gain new knowledge and/or acquire new skills in order to progress or advance? You may need to think ahead and conduct research, in order to prepare your self-development plan. After conducting research, you can then map out the upcoming months and further refine the steps you'll take to work towards a new outcome.

Targeted Question #3: Have I been engaged in any form of negative self-talk?

You may or may not be aware of the thoughts being held about yourself, and this is something I recommend you start to become more conscious of and pay attention to. This self-talk can be supportive, and help you feel good about your life and the decisions you make, or you can be stuck in a pattern of negative self-talk that belittles and undermines your best intentions and efforts. Some of the hardest lessons I've witnessed others learn as a career coach is that of self-empathy, or being able to forgive oneself for past events and perceived mistakes. If you can support yourself, even when you find yourself in the worst possible situation, you will find recovery occurs much sooner.

Targeted Question #4: Do I believe I can reach and complete the first career goal established?

This question ties directly into the prior question about self-talk, and it relates to your self-beliefs. If you were to look at the career plan you've developed for yourself, would you honestly state you could achieve it? Do you believe you have the potential to complete whatever you put your mind to accomplish? Those may seem like obvious questions and yet, if you cannot reconcile your beliefs with your career plan, you may never accomplish the goals you have established. A belief begins by feeling some level of hopefulness rather than hopelessness. If you are developing a future plan, then you must believe to some extent your future can change. If you are creating this plan for any other reason, it will not occur. This is the time to decide: I believe in myself and I believe I can meet these goals.

Targeted Question #5: Do I know what I am capable of accomplishing?

In order to solidify your beliefs, and make them meaningful rather than hollow statements, you should begin with an assessment of your strengths. Your strengths are the foundation that creates your capacity to create change, learn, grow, and adapt. You will use these strengths to also work on areas of development. As you look to the future, and you are assessing what you need to be prepared, do not consider yourself to have shortages or weaknesses. These are opportunities for professional development. You also do not need to be afraid to identify areas that need improvement, just be aware and ready to prepare. You can adapt and you have both the capacity and potential to learn. This renewed sense of self-awareness will ultimately make you stronger as you look to the future with confidence.

Is It Time for a New Career Path?

Conducting a career analysis can be an eye-opening experience, especially if you have a new sense of self because of the world and work conditions. Once you have completed the process above, you may know with certainty what direction your career path is headed in, assuming working conditions return to normal sometime soon. You may feel a sense of renewal about the type of work you are performing and want to remain in the same job and with the same employer. However, the analysis may cause you to consider a different perspective. Perhaps now your priorities have changed, or have been re-emphasized, and now you feel strongly about finding a new career path. The analysis has now helped move you in another direction and set a plan in place to begin a journey towards another destination. No matter which of these scenarios is matched to you, you should feel empowered to become better in charge of your career and ready to take action, once the business world is functioning again.

The Value of Productive Thinking

The economic health of the nation is troubling, and it is unknown when businesses will be functioning at some level of normalcy again. Yet this should not stop you from developing a career plan and preparing for the future. If history is any indicator of how humanity and the economy operate in times of global crises, there will eventually be a recovery period. It may not occur quickly and for many businesses, there may be a significant return to the growth time period needed. However, you can still keep your mind sharp and focused on your own self-development, which in turn will allow you to better address both a time of crisis and recovery. As you work on your own developmental plans, you engage the rational aspect of your mind and this keeps emotional reactions under control. The more you can continue to think in a productive manner, the better you are able to care for yourself and others as well. Perhaps logical thinking will help to sustain you, and the business you work for, as you await the crisis to subside.

How To Make More Money In 2022 - The Top Seven Questions To Ask Yourself

Making more money, living a better and happier life are always the top wishes we secretly and sometimes openly have for ourselves at the beginning of every year, and 2022 will not be an exception. In addition to money, we wish ourselves and friends and neighbors alike good health, bountiful blessings, God's grace, and happiness, but we know if we have more money, it means God has answered all our prayers. To strive to make the New Year better than the previous one, we write down New Year resolutions and pray that all our wishes come to pass. Sadly these resolutions are more often than not forgotten a few days into the New Year as life sweeps us along.

Some belief to achieve anything, you need to sit down and create plans and set goals and then set out to execute your projects, and all would be well. This is not a good idea. Rather than make plans and write down goals, ask yourself concrete questions first. So to position yourself to make more money in 2022, you need to be guided by questions, and here are the top seven to ask.

1. How much money do I want to make? A simple and almost trite question, but this is the first question you should ask yourself. It's the roadmap to where you're going. You must be clear about how much you want to make in 2022 before you do anything else. The more precise the figure, the more likely you'll make it. Do not say I wish to make more money or a lot of money; instead, I want to make $50,000 or $1 million in 2022. When you do that, your mind will work and move forces to help you achieve your target. The human mind likes precision, so if you want to achieve the mark you've set, be clear about what the target is in terms of the exact figure. Also, be unrealistic by setting audacious targets. This is a mindset thing. If you're earning $15,000, why gun for $20,000 when you can set sights on $150,000, which is 10X your current income?

2. Is what I'm currently doing putting more money in my pocket? Many people like to do things that make them famous or loved or wanted and hardly ask whether they put more money in their pocket. As you already know, time is one of the scarcest resources, and when it's gone, it's gone forever. So you have to use the limited time you have wisely. Anytime you're asked or tempted to do anything, always ask yourself, is this thing going to put more money in my pocket? If the answer is no, don't do it. If you do, you're cheating yourself because you would have used that time to do something else that would have put more money in your pocket or swollen your bank account. Be selfish with your time, and as much as possible, don't stretch yourself too thin by taking up so many projects and assignments that don't put more money in your pocket.

3. What should I do to double or quadruple or 10X my income? Throughout 2022 think about how you could grow your income exponentially and not incrementally. If you're earning, say $10,000, think of ways you could double it within a month or three months to $20,000 or even 10X it to $100,000. If you're doing 9 - 5 jobs as an employee, think of how you could change careers to earn double or how you could you ask your current employer to double your pay. Can you tweak your strategies to double or triple your income if you're self-employed? Day in and day out throughout 2022, always have pen and paper and look at the different permutations that could enable you double or quadruple or 10X your earnings.

4. What price am I willing to pay to achieve my target income? As the saying goes, "No Cross, No Crown." Many people like to eat omelets, but they don't want to break an egg. This is self-delusion. As the year unfolds, be ready and willing to pay any price, bear any burden, and do whatever it takes to make more money in 2022. Do you need to get that outstanding certification? Do you need to move to another state or even another country if your circumstances permit? Do you need to learn cryptocurrency, Forex trading, content marketing, internet business, or whatever new skills are required to enable you to double what you're currently earning? If you're not willing to pay any price to achieve your target, you're limiting yourself.

5. Where can I get help to make more money in 2022? Many people have low self-confidence and find it hard to ask for help. Some people are lone wolves and prefer to suffer and toil all alone. Again this is a mindset thing. All you have to know is that there are people worldwide willing to help you if you could just raise your hand and ask and ask in the right way. Remember, you're not begging. To beg is to belittle yourself and undervalue your worth. Also, remember, you're not asking for a dole out. All you're doing is genuinely asking how to move from here to there? You can even ask Google, YouTube, Facebook, and tens of other social media channels. You can join online groups. There are so many ways you can ask for help, so if you want to make more money in 2022, make asking for help an essential way of doing things in the New Year.

6. How many lives do I want to touch? Dr. Peter Diamandis, the co-founder of Singularity University and the author of two best-selling books, Bold and Abundance, once said, if you want to be a billionaire, impact one billion lives. If you're going to make more money in 2022, you must be willing to touch more lives. What can you do? Before becoming president, you can become a community mobilizer as ex-president Barack Obama. You can launch a blog or podcast and preach about bad leadership in your community. You can set up a school online like Khan Academy. You can do many things to make more money in 2022 by touching more lives and creating a huge impact. All you have to keep at the back of your mind is that making more money is not for your personal ego trip.

7. Why do I want to make more money in 2022? As I said in the paragraph above, you have to keep at the back of your mind that making more money is not for your personal ego trip. If you want to make more money in 2022, you must have a big "Why" that transcends the mundane. You don't want to make more money because you want to buy a Rolls Royce, build a more enormous mansion or buy an Island all for yourself. You need a powerful "Why" because the more powerful your "Why," the more resilient you'll be to withstand adversity when the going gets tough. If your "Why" is weak, you'll give up when you meet your first obstacle or suffer a minor setback. A "Why" such as impacting more lives, making the world a better place, and being of service to humanity are the kinds of "Why" that stand the test of time. Create a powerful "Why" to guide your journey, and you'll make more money in 2022.

There you have them; the seven top questions you should ask yourself to make more money in 2022. It starts with asking how much money I want to make and thinking deeply about that target amount. Without a target amount, everything will be an exercise in futility. It's followed by asking what I'm currently doing to put more money in my pocket? Next, is what should I do to double or triple or quadruple or 10X my income? That question is followed by, what price am I willing to pay to achieve my target income? Then you zero in on where can I get help to make more money? The next in order is how many lives do I want to touch? And the ultimate question is, why do I want to make more money? If you ask these questions and systematically go in search of answers for them, you'll make more money in 2022 than you made in the previous ten years put together. I guarantee.

Just How Your Self-Talk Affects Your Confidence As Well As Success

People are engaged in inner dialog or self-talk consistently. It is a sort of automatic response to just how we feel, and it influences our habits based on our experiences in life. If your mind-set is always negative, as well as if you always take part in negative self-talk, you end up being pessimistic.

Many of us regard academic results and earning potential as important markers and measures of success but they're only part of a many-faceted picture. In reality, success has many faces.

So many of us are influenced and guided by other people's hopes, dreams, and aspirations, encouraging us to follow their goal of what success looks like. They may have missed out on university education, have unfulfilled dreams of pursuing a professional career, like becoming a doctor or accountant, and want those they love to succeed where they failed. But living another person's dreams can be a lonely, unsatisfactory experience, generating very little enthusiasm to sustain it.

Successfully learning service or trade can open the doors to an amazing career. Offering a cleaning service, household repairs, gardening, odd jobs, a concierge business will require varied qualifications and registrations, but these are areas of significant demand and potential growth. Customers are clamoring to engage with service providers who are good.

Or starting small, perhaps with a multi-level marketing initiative, maybe a huge step for someone who has not worked for a while or who needs to balance the many demands of their personal life. Hopefully, doing this enables them to receive training as they learn and grow their business.

In those situations, success may be making the commitment to regular coaching, gaining the confidence to speak to people, even when some are strangers, learning how to professionally introduce themselves and their goods or services. Developing a business model of their own, where the goal is to ultimately work hours to suit and set their own targets, with the option to be flexible, can feel liberating and worth aspiring to.

Budgeting, planning, recognizing what people need, and pitching to make a good impression, followed hopefully by a sale, requires good timing, skill, and mental dexterity, a time to dig deep and reference life experiences that may not have been tapped into for some time. All things to be proud of and give oneself credit for.

For super-achievers, reaching those all-important goals whilst appearing professional and financially successful brings its own pressures. It costs a lot of money and personal investment to maintain the lifestyle, level of fitness, and appearance to satisfy other people's expectations of what success looks like. And, often other people judge a person's success on what they see and have their attention drawn to.

Another's the perception of success may be either good or bad, positive or negative, based on what's happening in their own lives. For example, if you were looking to make a middle-of-the-road purchase, what would you think if you saw flashy, expensive cars in the staff car park; that they were successful or that they charged far too much for their wares? Seeing excessive affluence might make you think twice. But if you were aiming for a high-end purchase, seeing signs of opulent success might convince you that you were in the right place. Perception is relative to each situation.

There are those people who appear to have it all, the business reputation, big house, expensive car, and lifestyle. For them, success may now be about cutting back, downsizing, and spending less time at work, with more time for the things that matter to them, doing things they want to do. It may be that time with family has become more important, being only too aware that children grow up quickly whether you're there to see them or not and that relationships can struggle if they're not regularly nurtured.

Other people may have always wanted to travel, to see the world, and take their time doing so. They may feel successful when they're finally able to buy a camper van or pack their rucksack and set off, with the freedom to do as they please. Being in a position where they're able to volunteer and do charity work gives many people a sense of satisfaction and fulfillment, maybe in ways never experienced in a work environment. Success, for them, is seeing the difference their involvement makes.

Interestingly, being successful can bring its own challenges too. It's not unusual to hear of the void left when an athlete succeeds in a competition, but then has nowhere else to go; they've achieved it all. What comes next if there's no new success to aim for? Many top sportspeople report experiencing the chasm left when, after years of dedication and focus, they retire and it all comes to an end, especially when they're at the top of their game.

It's important to plan ahead. Whilst being single-minded about one's goals and motivation, it also matters to be aware of the importance of cultivating interests and satisfaction outside the main focus too.

What does success mean to you? Is it a financial, fitness, or lifestyle goal? For many, it's when they finally feel that they're making a valuable contribution, whilst finding a sense of security and inner peace. Money is only part of it; recognition, appreciation, and personal satisfaction often bring their own success and reward.
